Dr. Leah Chandler, OTD, OTR/L
Owner/Occupational Therapist
I'm Leah, a Doctor of Occupational Therapy, a mom of three, and the heart behind Greenhearted OT. I started this practice because I believe every child deserves therapy that truly fits their life, not the other way around.
As a mom myself, I know what it feels like to worry about your child, to navigate appointments and evaluations, and to just want someone in your corner who genuinely gets it. That lived experience shapes everything about how I show up for the families I work with.
My passion is helping children thrive in their everyday lives — at home, at school, in the community. I specialize in sensory processing, reflex integration, fine motor development, feeding, and early intervention for premature infants, always with a child-led, family-centered approach grounded in the latest evidence.
Outside of work, I love spending time with my husband and three children. We're an active family — you'll find us outside playing sports, staying busy, and making the most of every moment together.
My approach
Child-Led. Family-Centered. Evidence-Based.
Child-Led Therapy
I follow your child's lead, using play and natural motivation to build skills that stick. When children feel safe and engaged, learning happens naturally.
Family as Partners
You know your child best. I work alongside caregivers to build strategies that carry over into daily routines — not just during our sessions.
Whole-Child Focus
I look at the whole child — sensory, motor, emotional, and developmental — to understand the root of challenges and create lasting change.
Natural Environments
Therapy in familiar settings leads to better generalization. Skills learned at home transfer to school, community, and life.
Why concierge OT?
The Difference In-Home Therapy Makes
Traditional clinic-based therapy asks families to drive across town, sit in waiting rooms, and hope that skills learned in a sterile environment transfer to real life. Concierge OT flips that model. I come to you — and that changes everything.
No commute, no waiting rooms
Therapy fits into your family's schedule and routine, not the other way around.
Real-world skill building
Skills are practiced in the exact environments where they need to work — the kitchen, the bedroom, the backyard.
Caregiver coaching built in
I coach caregivers in real time, in real situations, so strategies actually carry over.
Undivided attention
As a therapist-owned practice, your child gets my full focus — no rotating staff, no insurance-driven time limits.
Conditions & Developmental Levels
Leah has worked with children across a wide range of diagnoses, developmental profiles, and ages — from premature infants to school-age kids.
